Christmas Cactus, Mikizilla, and Bread?

Last year Richard's mom gave us a Christmas Cactus, by the time we got home all the little buds had fallen off (it was quite a journey). This year, however, it got the chance to bloom (another reason why I had to put up the Christmas tree so early). I had some fun taking a bunch of pictures. Here are some of the better ones:
