Well, Ms. Molly put up a good quiz that sums up 2008. This quiz is really hard if you haven't been keeping a journal of the year, which I have not. I totally for get what happened this year vs. last year and excetera, the years go by fast and all blur together. So here I go. If I had no answer, the question was deleted. 1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Feel in the moment. This Summer I truly let myself go. I enjoyed every moment of my being.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did not have any resolutions.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not anyone close, but a couple of family members did.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank God.
5. What countries did you visit?
The U.S.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Money…I tried to think of something spiritual, but I really need money.
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 28-Sept 2 my summer of enlightenment.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a crappy job because I had to, and have so far kept it…GO ME!!
9. What was your biggest failure?
Giving in to self pity at times.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I managed to get heat sickness way too much this summer.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My kitty, Miki
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Emma, for helping me out this summer…you are an excellent friend.

Loose ships sink ships.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Air Fare for Christmas and Student Loans

Finding a burial in the desert.

Happier, thinner, poorer (monetary -wise)

Living in the present and not worrying about the future.

Worrying, being angry about things I can’t do anything about.

With family and traveling. It was great.

I don’t stray much from my old favourites, but I did gain a new respect for the Beatles.

Time in the Great Basin…man I love that place.
27. What did you want and not get?
I was not able to take a couple of Archaeological job offers that I really wanted to.
28. What was your favorite film of this year?
There were a few, and I had to find a list on the internet to remind me. However, the most anticipated The Dark Knight, Cloverfield and Iron Man. My favourites ended up being those plus Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Juno.
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned the big 30 and I spent it in a hotel room in Battle Mountain with Heat sickness…really lame. I did end up have a party at Darby’s for the 4th of July. Thanks D…

Money, sad but true.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Sloppy as always.

Going back to the US.

Gay marriage. Why are we banning this? I cried with joy when California legalized it and I cried in anger when they dismissed it.

It is good to get away and it is good to make new friends even if they are friends for a short period of time.
