My first kiss

When thinking about my first kiss, I find that there are a couple of stages of first kisses.  There is the first playground kiss, the first crush kiss, the first boyfriend kiss, the first kiss of my first love and then the first kiss with my husband.  What I find funny about this is that I remember who all of these people were, but I only remember the specifics of the first 2, the ones that happened when I was young.

My first playground kiss was with Nick Panuco when I was about 5 or 6.  We were at the Gig Harbor Park on Vernhardson (which I just discovered is called Crescent Creek Park) and it happened in one of the big white sculpture things they used to have...I don't know if they are still there.  After that, there were tons of other playground kisses.  As much as boys and girls like to believe the other has cooties, they sure do like to kiss each other.

My first crush kiss was with a boy who was also called Nick, and this happened in one of the isles of the Goodman Middle School library when I was in 6th grade.

I find it really interesting that I can actually remember these kisses but not the others that you would think would be more memorable.  I wonder why that is?
