Random things

I haven't thought of any Thankful Anyways lately, so I thought I would include some random things while the Sprout is asleep in his swing.

  • It keeps snowing.  It is getting annoying because it will snow, then melt, then freeze making it almost impossible to walk anywhere.  Luckily, the rain has been intermittent, I guess that is a good reason for snow.
  • Last Saturday, E and I went to B's who lives in Manchester.  We only got slightly lost on the way there, but on the way home we ended up in Liverpool...oops!
  • My hands are falling off...well peeling off is more like it.  For some reason my skin has become completely dry.  I started getting little bumps resembling blisters all over my palms.  I went to the dr and she thought it was due to dry skin, so I was prescribed some heavy duty lotion and soap-free "soap".  Now they are peeling like mad, it is really gross.
  • The Sprout's favourite song is "Blackbird" by the Beatles.  All I have to do is sing it and he gets smiley, no rattle needed.
  • I dread having to go back to work, not because I don't know what I will do with the Sprout, but because I am lazy.
  • I have been doing well with my "weight loss" plan.  This is mainly due to how much the Sprout lights up when I start to put his snow suit on.
  • We have also been busy with the play groups.  We are attending 3 at the moment.
  • Why does everyone start talking about weaning when your child reaches 4 months?
  • I WILL PLANT THINGS THIS YEAR...as soon as it stops frosting...and I get some soil, the neighbourhood cats pooped in mine.
  • We finally bought a TV license so I can watch the Olympics.  Now we need a free-view box.
  • I am going to attempt the Chaos sweater, if the Sprout will let me.

Oops, baby crying, I better get back to work.

You still have months before returning to work don't you? Sounds like you have adjusted well to life with the sprout! We miss you guys.
