Ms. Molly made me realize yesterday in her comment to my post that I haven't really done much reporting on the Sprout himself. I complain a lot about what he is doing to me but not much about him. So here is a little update. For starters, if you are interested in the development of the Sprout at 33 weeks here is a link.
A couple of weeks ago I started getting Braxton Hicks contractions. They are described as "practice contractions." They don't hurt, but I find them to be incredibly annoying. If I am particularly stressed out, they are more frequent and much more prevalent, therefore I have decided to not be stressed out about anything unnecessary (money, family matters, work etc, I can think about them, but I am not allowed to get upset by them. If I can't help but be upset, then I must deal with it immediatly and let it go).
Because the embryonic fluid is beginning to disappear to make things more comfortable for the Sprout, I have noticed more pushing and thumping, rather than little flutters. He has told us that he really likes it when Richard lays on him and talks to him by giving Richard massive kicks (of course we are just assuming it is because he likes it, who knows he could really hate it and if that is the case we are letting him know that sometimes you have to put up with things you don't like).
He gets really active when I eat. He seems especially active when I eat cheese, zucchini bread, homemade bread, milk, oranges and peanut butter.
The Sprout likes to hiccup and does it frequently.
At our last visit to the midwife, his heart rate was at the very high range of "normal". The midwife wasn't too concerned, but hopefully when we visit her next week, it will be down. I decided his heart rate was up because I was really stressed out, so if I follow my "no stressing out" rule, we should be fine.
Let's see...
That is about it. It isn't too exciting, but in a month and a half I will have much more to tell you so everyone will just have to be patient.

When you are counting in weeks, it goes by sooooo fast. A little scary.
